Angelica is proud to be one of the winners of Liquidnet’s Local Impact Challenge |
We won $17,500! The Challenge was posted on the Just Means social networking site for six weeks, during which time contestants asked their contacts to go online and vote for their cause. Angelica came in second place with 891 votes! The Liquidnet For Good Challenge provided $150,000 worth of grants to NYC-area nonprofits that are strengthening the local community. Out of a field of 28 nonprofits, the top ten vote-getters received grants ranging from $10,000 to $35,000. Angelica is grateful to Liquidnet for including us in the Challenge and for this most generous gift. 100% of the money will fund events and programs for patients who reside at Coler-Goldwater Hospital on Roosevelt Island.

| Shop for Good |
Do you shop online (and who doesn’t?) Did you know that when you shop at many popular online retailers (including Amazon, Apple, Best Buy, Gap, Nordstrom, Sephora, Shoes.com, Staples & Toys R Us, to name a few!), a percentage of your purchase (anywhere from 0.5% to 30%) can go to Angelica? Not just at the holidays but every day, you can contribute to our cause when you shop online. You can also donate to charity through Good Shop when you book your travel plans online (think Expedia, Avis, Delta, etc.) It’s so easy! Just click on the Good Shop symbol to go to find the store where you want to shop and enter Angelica Patient Assistance Program where it says “Who do you support?” Thank you for helping Angelica make a difference in the lives of long-term care patients.

In the News -- Angelica Receives a Grant from the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation |
The grant will fund the purchase of an Adaptive Pinball Machine that will be used by many patients and residents, including those who have limited mobility that keeps them from enjoying other leisure activities. We thank the Reeve Foundation for supporting our efforts to bring more joy to the patients and residents of Coler-Goldwater Hospital.
