Patient Profiles



Ramon “King Tito Love” Cruz is a member of Angelica's OPEN DOORS program and a bilingual hip hop performer. Cruz has been an aspiring artist since he was young. Coming from a musically oriented family, his father was a percussion instrument player for one of the most famous merengue bands in the Dominican Republic.

Tony is from Queens and enjoys attending many Angelica events. He is Greek and he loves Greek food and culture. Tony enjoys writing poetry and songs and likes to share them with fellow patients and friends. 



Theresa is studying business administration at LaGuardia Community College. She stays busy doing homework in the computer lab and studying in the library; in her spare time she likes to play computer games.

Theresa says that through her experiences planning and executing Angelica events, she has learned new skills and become more comfortable asserting herself.
